EBTKS Challenge: Buttons

My friend Jinny does this challenge just about every week (if not every week...I don't really keep track). I have always loved what she has come up with. So I decided to play along this week too.

The challenge was to create a scrapbook page, altered item, or card using buttons! I have plenty of those around the house!!! But when I read this challenge I thought of this picture...

This was a sweet afternoon where Brooke and Daddy napped on the couch together when she was just 1 month old! What I love most about it is that Brooke feel asleep on Daddy's chest and she has a button imprint on her little cheek!

This picture deserves to be the only one on the page. I used a scalloped piece of designer paper and my Mickey Mouse font for my Cricut to create the word "button". Then I added some buttons and journaling. The pink buttons are just from my stash and the brown buttons come from Papertrey Ink.

The journaling reads, "You can sleep almost anywhere. Today you fell asleep on Daddy's shirt and had a button imprint on your cheek!"

Thanks for checking out my challenge entry. I hope to see you all back here soon!
