Practical Scrappers: Ten Things with STAMPS!

I jumped on the chance to join the Practical Scrappers Ten Things team this week when I found out the topic was stamps and they needed someone who LOVED using stamps!

You know me, I'm a Stampin Up demonstrator so it's in my blood to love stamping!  I think stamping on scrapbook pages is the BEST!  Just look at these little bunnies...

I could have probably purchased bunny embellishments to use on this page.  But would they look as cute?  Probably not!  AND...now that I have the stamps and inks, I can make as many bunnies as I want...in any color that I want!  :)

This stamp set: Polka Dot Parade #1 Mini came from Papertrey Ink.  Just $5 and then $3 for the coordinating dies, which I also purchased!

I also used stamps from this set to create the title of my layout and the border across the bottom!

All designer paper on this layout is by My Mind's Eye.  Bunnies were stamped in Stampin Up Colors: Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Pool Party and Regal Rose.

Please be sure to check out what the rest of the Ten Things team did with their stamps this week over at the Practical Scrappers blog!

I am also entering this in for Sketches in Thyme Challenge #104!  I just loved this sketch and hope you all do too!  Still a few days to play!

Pracitcal Scrappers: Two Page Layouts

Don't you just love two-page layouts?!  They are my favorites because that is what you will normally find in my scrapbooks!  BUT, I think it's so sad that the majority of sketches out there are for just one page.

Over at Practical Scrappers this week, we have given you a few samples of two-page layouts that you are more than welcome to copy or use as inspiration!

Here is my two-pay layout...

Noah's 1 month pictures!

I love this little embellishment: felt flower, paper flower, paper heart, button!  SO CUTE!

Craft Your Passion #153: 2 Favorite Colors

Hello There!  It's time for another Craft Your Passion Challenge!  This week we are working with images from Dilly Beans Digi Images.  I chose to work with #541-Doodle Flower!  I love this digi image SO MUCH!

The Craft Your Passion Challenge this week is to use your 2 favorite colors.

My two favorite colors are: Lucky Limeade and Tempting Turquoise.  It just so happens that I got to add in another one of my favorite colors because it's a neutral...Crumb Cake!

I colored my image using Stampin' Up! Stampin Write Markers: Lucky Limeade, Garden Green, Tempting Turquoise, Pool Party and Island Indigo.

I used washi tape to create a background for the doodle flower image.  Then I added a cute little yellow button on top!

Practical Scrappers: Ten Things - Vellum

I joined the Ten Things Team this week over at Practical Scrappers to help them come up with 10 Things to do with Vellum!

I chose to TEAR IT!

I started this card with a Early Espresso cardstock base.  I then tore approximately 3/4" strips of vellum to layer from the bottom up, creating a slightlyt ruffled look.  I used snail (mono) adhesive to secure it to the card base.  I just kept layering and layering.  Once you got 2 pieces on, you couldn't see the adhesive through the vellum.  I used a piece of washi tape at the top to cover the adhesive and give the card a finished look.

The Crumb Cake shape and Calypso Coral flowers come from the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit by Stampin Up!  I just love this kit!  I layered 3 flowers to create this look.  I then added in a Sycamore Street Button tied with White thread.

Then I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink!

I just love how this card turned out and I hope you do too.  Be sure to visit the Practical Scrappers blog so that you can see all of our other ways to use vellum today!
