SSINKspiration: Quick & Easy

It's time for some Quick & Easy Cards!  You will see mine below but you will see even more over at SSINKspiration today!

Here is my card...

I created this card for a Fancy Folds Card Class that I had last night!  The girls loved it and I hope you do too!  I think it even falls into the category of Quick & Easy!

You will start with a card base that is 11 x 4.25 inches.  Score and fold in half.

Then you are going to cut a 2 x 5.5 inch section off of the front of your card.  I then used a 1-3/4" Circle punch to cut the half circle that you see above.

Embellish it a little and there you have it!

Don't forget to stop by SSINKspiration today and see what the other Design Team Members created for you!

Event Display Stamper Submission

Stampin' Up! is giving Demonstrators a chance to be selected to create display boards at Convention this year.  SO...I am applying!  We were asked to provide 3 card samples, 1 scrapbook page and 2 3D items.

Here are my submissions...

Card #1 was created for a Stamp without a Stamp Challenge.  I used Smokey Slate ink and the cap of a glue stick to create the background of this card.

Card #2 was created as a swap for a group of my Demonstrator friends!  We were getting ready for the Occasions Catalog!  I love the Hardwook Background Stamp!

Card #3 was created for a Masking class that I did for my customers.  I loved using the Heart Collection Framelits to create a mask for the Tape It stamps! SO FUN!

My Layout was created for my Scrapbook Club this past month!  We learned the Emboss Resist Technique and used it for the circular star embellishments.

3D Item #1 was created for a Demonstrator friend of mine as a gift for our Secret Valentine exchange.  I just love how all of these flowers layer together and who doesn't LOVE the Fresh Prints DSP Stack!!

3D Item #2 was created from the May 2014 My Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I love this little brag book!  I used it to showcase a few of my favorite Instagram pictures of my family.  Documenting every day life is one of my favorite things to do.  You can see the other pages below...

I hope you enjoy my submission projects!  Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog Stampin' Up!  PICK ME!!!!  ;)  Please!

SSINKspiration: Stamp w/o a Stamp

I have A LOT of stamps in my craft room but sometimes it's fun to stamp without a stamp!  Let me tell you what I mean.

For my card today I used a super secret object to create the background on the Whisper White cardstock.  Can you guess what that item is?  Hint: Stampin' Up! does sell this item!

I thought that this item looked like a fun cement wall.  I used Smokey Slate ink on Whisper White cardstock.

Scroll down to see what the secret item is...

Scrapbook Club: April Layout

Last night was another fun night with my Scrapbook Club!  I have so much fun creating for these girls and I wanted to share our layout with you all this morning!

If you are a part of my club, you pledge to spend $25 per month for 6 months.  In return you get your chance to be a hostess one of those months and earn the FREE merchandise!  You also get to come to my house and create a 2-page layout each month!

When it's your turn to be the hostess you get to choose a product or technique that you want me to focus on.  This month we did the Emboss Resist Technique.  The stars in the circles is where we used this technique!

Emboss Resist Instructions:
1. Emboss your stamp image on white cardstock with clear embossing powder.
2. Punch out your shape if you desire to.
3. Use a sponge and ink color of your choice.  Rub the inked up sponge over the white paper and embossed image to give the paper a little color.

I hope you enjoyed my layout today!  If you are interested in joining one of my clubs that will start in July, please let me know!

Stylin' Stampin' Squad April Blog Hop: Kids

This month the Stylin' Stampin' Squad we are focusing on kids!  All of the projects you will find are kid related and we had so much fun creating for you!

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 12 on the Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop - Pam Steckman. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.

Do you ever let your kids pick out whatever they want to to wear?  There are time when I do and it's so much fun to see what my now 5 year old daughter picks out!  I love it so much sometimes that I snap a picture so that I can remember and she can see it as she gets older!

So this is Brooke!  The day this picture was taken she chose to wear: glittery pink flip flops, black and white striped leggings, a floral skirt, an Angry Birds t-shirt from an old Vacation Bible School and her Princess Belle crown!  Whew!

When I started this layout, I decided that my layout had to be equally as mis-matchy and I LOVE IT!

Pink with Red, Chevrons and Stripes...

And some flowers in the mix and rhinestones for a little bling and you have a fun layout based on a 4 year old's outfit!

I hope you enjoyed my layout today!  Don't forget to continue on the hop and see what all of the other Design Team Members have for you today!  Next Up is Rose...

SSINKspiration: Ombre Stamping

Ombre is such a fun trend and there are so many samples of what this trend is all about over at SSINKspiration today!

Ombre is a French term meaning "shaded".  It's usually a multi-colored stripe, with colors graduating from light to dark.

The Happy Watercolor Stamp Set is perfect for the Ombre trend!  The watercolor splotch I used is made to stamp dark to light.  Then when you add in 3 different shades of pink, it makes the Ombre stand out even more!

Did you notice that I even did my Candy Dots in Ombre fashion?!

Please make sure you stop by the SSINKspiration main blog today to see the other example of Ombre!
