SSINKspiration: Friday Favorites

I never thought that I would be saying this at all! But gold mixed with some of our colors is just SO PRETTY!

Practical Scrappers: On Trend - Chalkboard

Today over at Practical Scrappers we are showing you example of the fun Chalkboard Technique!

You can create the chalkboard look with black cardstock and white ink or paint or chalk. But there are a lot of companies that are now creating papers, stickers and embellishments with the Chalkboard Technique already applied to them.

On my card today I used a sticker that was created as a Chalkboard word bubble. I just love this card and I hope you do too!

SSINKspiration: My Paper Pumpkin

Today over at SSINKspiration we are creating with...

Do you receive these monthly kits? I do and I love them! January 2014's kit seems to have gotten lost in the mail though. I was hoping to get to play with it in time for this post but it just didn't happen! So you get a little bit of last month's kit.

December 2013's kit was supposed to be a little scrapbook BUT I decided to use the fun papers, stamps and embellishments to make cards. I LOVE these papers and wish that they were available in 12x12 because I would totally use them in my regular scrapbooks!!

SSINKspiration: Layout Sketch

SSINKspiration: Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to me...in 3 days! There are 3 of us on the SSINKspiration Design Team that have birthdays this month so we thought it would be fun to create a few birthday cards!

My card is so, so easy. I think you are going to love it!

I used the Retro Fresh Designer Journaling Tags as the focal object of this card. This card came together in about 3 minutes.

I also used the new Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper and the Retro Fresh Washi Tape!

All of these new items are SO MUCH FUN!

SSINKspiration: January Card Sketch

This card is full of fun new elements and I LOVE IT!

I chose to add a little Red Glimmer Heart to all of my bags. Those don't come with the kit but can easily be recreated using the Red Glimmer Paper and the Small Heart Punch!
