JAI 140

I thought I would play along with Just Add Ink's challenge this weekChallenge #140 was to use Chevrons.  Chevrons are H-O-T right now and all I can say is that I LOVE the trend!

Here is my card...

I used the color combination of: Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso.  I love this color combo!  I think it makes a great untraditional Christmas card.  What do you think?

The Chevron and torn layers on this card were created using Stampin Up's new Core'dinations Cardstock that has a different color core!  So when you sand it or tear it, you will see the other color and all I can say is that I LOVE IT!

The chevron layer was created by using the Chevron Embossing Folder and then lightly sanding over the top of it.  So neat!  I will be using this one a lot, I think!

Hope you like it!

This is fabulous, Kim!! I LOVE your colour combination, and the 'rustic' look of the Core'dinations cardstock goes so well with the softness of the seam binding; love it! Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week :)
