My friend Danielle has been on me for a while now to enter my creations to magazines for publication. So she sent me a big list of calls, things that the magazines are looking for.
The first call that I tackled was for CARDS magazine. They wanted to see cards with the color combo of deep red, green, and robbin's egg blue, with the Damask pattern. Here's what I came up with:
I used textured Bravo Burgundy, Certainly Celery and a patterned paper made by Jenni Bowlin. The robbin is the Certainly Celery Twill that was available during Sale-a-Bration. I sent the card in this week so we will see what happens! It's fun to make stuff for submissions and not nearly as hard as I thought it would be!
