I just love this hodgepodge of items that are spray painted and put together on a shelf!  I knew when I saw it that it would be a great card!

February 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit

I love this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit!  When a kit comes in the mail there is a project already planned out for you to create.  Here is this month's project...

A cute accordion fold card with a fun box... 

But there are so many other things that you can do with this kit!  I showed you a fun card last week in this post.

I cut one accordion fold card with 8 panels into 4 pieces to create 4 little notecards that are perfect for leaving little Thank You notes for your loved ones to find!

Quick & Easy Card

It's time for another Quick & Easy Cards post over at SSINKspiration!  These are some ideas for when you only have a few minutes to create and you want to make a cute card!

I love this month's My Paper Pumpkin kit!  Check out my post from yesterday!  But I also used it to create this card today!  One of my favorite things to do is use the negative images of the stickers as a mask for spritzing!  Don't you love it?

Chase the Blues Away...

It's the middle of winter and it's finally snowing where I live!  The kids are loving it!  But winter does mean a lot of hours inside and sometimes you need to chase the winter blues away.  

One of the things that helps to chase my winter blues away is...STAMPING!  And one of the best items that Stampin' Up! sells is the Paper Pumpkin kits!  I just got my February 2015 kit yesterday and I had to open it and get to creating right away!

Here is the card that the kit creates...

It's an accordion fold Thank You card that fits in this really cute box...

Here is my project this month...

This is a fun little finger puppet that I made for my daughter's Kindergarten Class to make at their Valentine's Day party!  It was so easy to make and a BIG hit with the kids!

Here is how you will prep and make this fun heart project...

Pieces you will need.

**Please note that you will use the 3/4" Circle Punch to create the finger holes.**

Step 1: Glue your large Real Red heart to your large Melon Mambo heart, tip to tip.

Step 2: Accordion fold the arm pieces and glue a heart to the end of each arm.

Step 3: Glue the end of each arm to the back of your heart body on the Real Red heart, pointed up.

Step 4: Add the Googlie Eyes, small heart nose and draw a smile!  Then stick your fingers in the finger holes and HAVE FUN!  Check out my Kindergartner and her adorably cute, fake smile! 

And when you are 3, your heart man might just look even cuter!  With one arm folded and one arm straight and the lop-sided eyes.  I am in love...with the little boy and his project!
