Sometimes you just don't have a picture...

...but you want to scrapbook a moment. Have you ever had this happen to you? Well I have several times. The below page is all about hearing Brooke's heartbeat for the first time. It was such an amazing experience that I just had to make a page all about it!

Journaling says, "8.13.08 - The doctor said I might not hear it at 10 weeks, but when I heard your heartbest, that's when I knew I was going to be a Momma! I heart you already!"

Daddy & Me

I snapped this picture on a trip we recently took to Topeka, KS. We were just dancing in the car for a while trying to cheer up Brooke. I love the way that she's looking at her Daddy!

Another Page

On this page I used some of the professinal pics that we had taken before Brooke was born! I love them so much!

I used a Simply Scrappin kit from Stampin Up and also some felt accents from my stash of embellishments!

I love to use my handwritting on pages that I create. Not only is it faster than typing and printing and cutting it to the right size, it's just a good way for future generations to see a little more of your personality!

A Scrapbook Page...!!!

Since what I most like to do is scrapbook, I thought that it would be fitting to start having my pages displayed on my blog! I wish I had a 12x12 scanner but I don't...so pictures will just have to do! Hope you like them!

This page was totally inspired by a conversation I had one day with Brooke. She was so big and I said to her, "You're getting so big. I'm going to blink and you will be 15 years old!" So I grabbed a picture from that day and created a layout around it! I love layouts with just one picture! They are awesome!

Today is the Day!

Today is the day that I get to see the new catalog! This year they started something new...if you place a demo order starting on June 1st they would put a single catalog in your box for you! And my box is coming today with all of my new goodies and the CATALOG! I am not allowed to post pictures of the catalog but if you have any questions about it, let me know and I will answer!

I recently found this card online. I thought it would be a really cute one to make. I am totally out of baby cards so I need to restock. And I also need to make some Thank You cards! What are you working on this week?

Club Meeting Last Night

Well we had a stamp club meeting last night and we made two cards that I had created then I showed them this sketch:

and I challenged them to create a card based on this sketch. They picked the colors, the stamp sets and everything else on the card...I just provided the sketch! Here's what they came up with!

Margie made this cute card using the Love You Much stamp set! Love the use of the decorative paper with the scallop punch!

Kathy created this cute Anniversary card using the Love You Much stamp set as well. She also used the Heart to Heart punch!

And Lori created this cute birthday card using the Party Hearty stamp set! She was going for a manly color combo...I think it worked!

And while I couldn't create a card last night (cause I was holding a baby), I created one this morning...just a simple graduation card. I thought it would be cute to turn the sketch around the other way!

New Card

This card is one that my mom made for her mom (my grandma) for Mother's Day.

Doesn't it just make you want to run out and get the Great Friend stamp set? I love that set and might just have to purchase it before I can't anymore! It's only $17.95!

Look at those Flowers

This is another card that I recently made. I love the technique I used to make the flowers multi-colored. It's called thumping, I think!

It's really easy. First you color the stamp with the lighter shade marker. Then take the darker and thump the brush tip over the lighter color. This will help to blend the colors together and gives a great multi-colored flower look!
