SSINKspiration: Layout Sketch

And here is my take on it...

I have had these pictures of Noah just sitting around and waiting to get in his album!  I thought this layout was perfect for a kid themed page!

The stamp set I used is the Boys Will be Boys set.  I love all of the images in this set!  They are perfect for little boy pages!

My favorite image in the set is this little robot!

But I also love the army guy and the blocks!

One of my Favorites: Washi Tape

Today over at SSINKspiration we are focusing on one of my favorites....Washi Tape!

I have been addicted to washi tape for quite a while and when Stampin' Up! came out with their own, I was so excited!

Here is my card today...

I used the All is Calm Washi Tape from the Holiday Catalog as a background for my cute little Christmas Tree.

Here are all of the tapes that come in the set!

This tape is a pack of 5 different washi tapes for only $7.95!  What a deal?!?!

I love to use this technique on Watercolor Paper!  I used Cherry Cobbler and Calypso Coral markers and just spritzed with my Stampin' Mist!

Can You Case It? #43: A Sketch Challenge

It's time for another Sketch Challenge at Can You Case It?

Here is this month's sketch...

And here is my take on the sketch...

I have had this little robot in my craft room for a few months now and I just LOVE him.  

My son currently goes around saying, "I am a robot."  He uses a robot voice and everything!  It's pretty darn cute!  So I knew I had to make him a card or two with it!

How did I make the little gears?  I first punched Silver Foil Paper with a 1/2" Circle Punch and then with a 1" Circle punch.  After that I used my Paper Snips to cut the little slits all the way around!  It took some time but it's SUPER CUTE!
