Happy Graduation

It's the time of year that all students start to graduate to the next level in school!  My Kindergartner just graduated last night!  Here she is in her little cap and gown...

She said tonight that she would like to be a veterinarian when she grows up and she admires her mom...THAT'S ME! 

And here is the card that I made for her...

I love the Starburst Sayings Stamp Set!  It is great for so many different occasions!  And it just happens to work great for Graduation!  Brooke did have a HAPPY DAY!

My Favorite Green

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I love this day!  It's so much fun to add green to your wardrobe and eat Lucky Charms and drink green milk (just add food coloring).  That's what I will be doing with my little kiddos today.  As well as taking a picture to add to our collection...

Green is also fun to craft with!  And my favorite Stampin' Up! green is...

Old Olive!  

I love this little alligator from the Zoo Babies stamp set.  And I think he looks great in Old Olive!  This will be the prefect card for my hubby this Friday when we celebrate our 11th anniversary!

Do you have any December birthdays in your life?  Well I have 3...my Dad, my Hubby and my Brother-in-Law!  So I need a lot of birthday cards even in December when I'm mostly crafting for Christmas!

I created this card for my Dad.  Shhhhhh....  I love this sentiment from the Birthday Surprise Stamp Set.  It's so big and can easily be made the focal image of a card front!

I have been addicted to washi tape for quite a while and when Stampin' Up! came out with their own, I was so excited!

I used the All is Calm Washi Tape from the Holiday Catalog as a background for my cute little Christmas Tree.

Inspiration Challenge

Today over at SSINKspiration we are having an Inspiration Challenge.  We picked this picture to be inspired by...

And here is the card that I came up with...

I loved the color combination of Gray, Black, White, Blue and Yellow.  So I used these Stampin' Up! colors on my card: Whisper White, Basic Black, Smokey Slate, Hello Honey and Coastal Cabana.

I also knew that I wanted to add in a flower because I love the random flowers around the room in the picture!

I am also linking up with the sketch from Retro Sketches...Sketch #136!  I love it!

Christmas in July

I'm back from convention and I have a few NEW goodies to share with you!  

We are celebrating Christmas in July over at SSINKspiration today!

One of the perks of being a Demonstrator and going to Convention this year was that we got to purchase a few items from the Holiday Catalog before anyone else has even seen them!

On this card you will see the Under the Tree Specialty DSP and the Mingle All the Way Stamp Set!

I also used our Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Blendabilities to color in the stamped sentiment and to color the pearls in coordinating colors!

My card is so, so easy.  I think you are going to love it!

I used the Retro Fresh Designer Journaling Tags as the focal object of this card.  This card came together in about 3 minutes.
