Stylin' Stampin' Squad October Blog Hop: Fall Projects

The Tag a Bag Bundle (#131371  $9.95) is so much fun to use!  This cute Chevron bags and the Smokey Slate striped tag came from the kit.  Along with the mini clothespin and the Tangerine Tango Baker's Twine!

 

I also used the Witches Brew Washi Tape and embossed the spider web on vellum and then cut it out!

SSINKspiration: October Color Challenge

 

It's time for another Color Challenge with SSINKspiration!  I loved the Color Challenge that Darcy came up with this month! 

 

I love Tangerine Tango and Elegant Eggplant together but I would always put them with black.  Today I had to use Early Espresso and I have to say that I really like it!

 

 

I love the Best of Halloween Stamp Set!  And Candy Dots with Washi Tape...they are my favorites!!!

Hiding In My Craft Room #118: Halloween Colors

Today starts a new month at HIMCR!  We have NEW Designers for you and a NEW Color Challenge that you have some freedom with...

 

HIMCR #118: Halloween Colors

 

I went with the traditional Orange and Black with a little added Gray for my card today.

 

 

 

I used a little bit of old Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! and everyting else is current!  I just love this Witches Brew Washi Tape!

 

And my favorite new stack of punches is shown here on this card too:

2-1/2" Circle (Basic Black)

2-3/8" Scallop Circle (Pumpkin Pie)

1-3/4" Circle (Basic Gray)

Label Bracket (Whisper White with image)

 

It seems to work well on a lot of cards...Halloween, Christmas...try it, I think you will love it!

Practical Scrappers: October Card Sketch

It's time for another card sketch over at Practical Scrappers!

 

This one is a little bit funky!

 

 

Here is my take on it...

 

I used a lot of my My Mind's Eye Goodies when creating this card!  I love MME almost as much as Stampin' Up!...Almost!

SSINKspiration: Halloween Cards

When I saw the September My Paper Pumpkin Kit, I instantly wished that the circle pattern printed on the card bases was a stamp! 

 

Then when I got over the fact that it wasn't, I decided that this was the perfect design for a Halloween card!

 

 

 

The first thing I added to this card base was the Witches Brew Washi Tape.  Then I used the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set and Basic Black ink on the card base.  The tree from the Best of Halloween Stamp Set was stamped with Basic Black ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.

 

I then used the 2-1/2" Circle Punch to punch it out.  A few dimensionals, a few Candy Dots and DONE!

SSINKspiration: Quick & Easy Cards

It's time for some Quick & Easy cards over at the SSINKspiration blog today!  I love Quick & Easy cards!  It's what I mostly create!  I don't like to spend more than 20 minutes on one card! 

 

Today I have a little Halloween card for you!  I used the Witches Brew Washi Tape that is in the Holiday Catalog!  I love these designs!!

 

 

 

I started this card with a Basic Gray card base.  I added a strip of Tangerine Tango chevron DSP from the Brights Stack of DSP.  Then I wrapped washi tape around some Whisper White Baker's Twine and tied a bow on each end. 

 

The "Trick or Treat!" sentiment comes from the Best of Halloween Stamp Set!  It's one of my favorites right now!

Hiding In My Craft Room #117: Women's Birthday

Over at HIMCR today we are showcasing Birthday Cards for the women in our lives.

 

This was a pretty easy theme for me.  I have a ton of My Mind's Eye embellishments that I love!  So I picked out the ones that had pink in them and used some on this card...
